Purpose of position CyanGate team is responsible for working with customers to define and architect a results oriented DAM solutions based on Artesia’s leading software product, Artesia DAM (http://www.artesia.com). CyanGate has deep experience and a focus in Media and Entertainment, Corporate Marketing, and Publishing. The Technical Solutions Engineer is involved in all phases of a DAM implementation project including analysis, design, JAVA development, and prototype development leveraging the latest technologies and frameworks. Customer engagements also include working with a variety of rich media formats including audio, video, graphics, and photography. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of programming experience with demonstrated skills in analytical problem solving environments, excellent oral and written English, and feel comfortable interacting with customers and partners. Mandatory Requirements · 2+ years of hands-on experience with JAVA programming · Experience with the following technologies: JSPs, Servlets, Web Services, Web/Application Server. · Experience with XML and XML schemas · Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers in MS SQL Server and/or Oracle. · Hands on Unix skills · Experience with relational database concepts and design · Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Preferably experience interacting with customers in English. · Understanding and experience with all aspects of Software Development Lifecycle · Self motivated and driven · Work ethic for a greater than 40 hour work week · Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS
Desirable Requirements · Consulting experience in diverse technology and business environments · Experience with J2EE (EJBs), J2EE Design Patterns, Hibernate, Struts, ANT, XSLT · Mac OS X experience · Experienced in configuring and tuning JBoss. · Experience in JBoss clusters · Experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server DBA skills · Experience with Video Production workflow, Video encoders/codecs, and experience with multiple video formats · Experience with Publishing tools such as InDesign and Quark
