About the job CyanGate is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer for our office in Ankara, Turkiye that can build innovative solutions to our customers that are based in the United States. The work will be done at our office in Hacettepe Teknokent initially, and gradually switch to hybrid. Experience and desire to learn and implement automated testing is highly desirable. Responsibilities • Perform functional testing of features for release cycles, creation and execution of test cases, raising of defects, and maintenance of defect logs. • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software • Create, modify, and execute automated test plans. • Analyze and write testing standards and procedures • Consult with development engineers for issue resolution • Analyze test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures, and recommend corrective action • Perform manual and automated testing Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS. • Experience with automated testing, implementation, and desire to implement automated solutions. • Minimum 2 years of experience • Ability to fluently communicate in written and spoken English. • Able to facilitate collaboration between global and local teams. • Outstanding problem-solving skills. • Self-motivated and energetic • Front-end technologies such as JavaScript, and HTML. Nice to Have: • Knowledge of test automation tools such as Test Project and Postman. • Knowledge of issue tracking systems such as JIRA.
