Who are we looking for?

CyanGate is looking for a Web Developer and SEO Expert to join our dynamic team at our office in Ankara, Turkey who can build innovative solutions for our customers that are based in the United States. The work will be done at our office in Hacettepe Teknokent initially, and gradually switch to hybrid. Experience and desire to learn are highly preferable.

As a Web Developer and SEO Expert, your primary responsibility will be crafting our websites using WordPress and implementing SEO practices. In this role, we expect you to have a genuine passion for technology and a commitment to staying up to date with industry trends.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System (MIS), Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Ability to fluently communicate in written and spoken English.
• 1-2 Years of work experience.
• Demonstrable experience in working on modern web applications.
• A strong understanding of HTML, PHP, CSS with SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience in web design, with a strong emphasis on WordPress expertise, and proficiency in setting up WordPress systems from start to finish.
• Extensive experience in creating websites using custom themes and essential plugins.
• Expertise in popular plugins such as Elementor, Visual Composer, or any other page builder plugin.
• Extensive experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
• Proficiency in SEO techniques and content optimization.
• Familiarity with backup methods and website health audits.
• Experience with responsive user interfaces for a wide range of devices and browsers
• A strong understanding of web performance in complex user interfaces
• Solid understanding of UX fundamentals and a strong grasp of industry standards.
• Effective project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deliver high-quality results on time.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Self-motivated.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Linux desktop technologies.
• Familiarity with SEMrush SEO tool.
• Experience working on large-scale projects.
• Relevant work experience
• Marketing Agency experience related the position requirements

Responsibilities

Work closely with teams to design visually attractive and user-friendly websites that stay in sync with our brand identity. Perform regular website maintenance, addressing problems, overseeing site performance, and applying essential upgrades. Contribute to the formulation of content strategies for websites, guaranteeing they are engaging, informative, and search engine optimized. Collaborate with diverse teams to collect project requirements and offer technical insights and suggestions. Stay updated on emerging web technologies and trends and suggest enhancements proactively for ongoing improvements.
