Upgrading and Patching OpenText Media Management

New OpenText Media Management releases provide more features and leverage the latest technology.  Some OpenText Media Management systems require technical expertise to upgrade - especially early OTMM versions such as upgrading Artesia DAM. Sometimes customers skip major upgrades for several reasons: lack to time, technical knowledge of the system, hardware, or complex customizations or configuration. In these situations, an OTMM Consultant is needed to ensure customizations, integrations, and workflows function correctly after the upgrade. In some circumstances, an out-of-the-box feature may cause a customization to be redundant.

OTMM upgrades and patches are not a problem for CyanGate.  CyanGate consultants have deep knowledge of several DAM solutions dating back to 2000 with Artesia DAM and early version of Media Management (version 6.8), completed many upgrades over the years, and know how to make your upgrade successful for OTMM users. When upgrading we examine how to make OTMM more efficient for customers, user friendly, and easier to upgrade in the future.

For examples of upgrades, take a look at the CyanGate projects.  CyanGate will be able to assist you with upgrading and patching OpenText Media Management. CyanGate has upgrade each version of OTMM since Artesia DAM and OTMM version 6.8. As a best practice, you should be on the latest or second latest major release.

If you are behind on upgrading your DAM, CyanGate will like to help you catch up and leverage the latest features, new technology, and security patches.  Contact us to learn how CyanGate can help you with your upgrade and patching.
